After making no real progress on the weekend at the Mizuno Open, I finished 46th.
I'm now heading home to Australia for a 3 week break.
I would prefer to keep playing as I feel my game is in good shape and I'm close to some really good results, unfortunately there are no tournaments scheduled at this time. My next start will be in Hokkaido where I will play the Sega Sammy and Sun Chlorella tournaments, both events I have played well in previously.
I'm going to work hard over my small break. I'm keen to improve on my order of merit position which is currently 64.
On a different note, Ness and I enjoyed our week in Kobe. It was the first time we have been away from the kids for any length of time and although we missed them terribly it was nice to see Ness on the side of the fairway. It's been years since she has watched me play, I just wish I could have put on a better show!.
By the way, Kobe beef is absolutely delicious, highly reccomended if you ever get the chance!.
Until next time, play well.
Wayne.

I'm happy to report I managed to scramble through to the weekend with rounds of 74 and 71, the cut was 146.
My game is in pretty good shape and I feel like a good round is on it's way. If it wasn't for a few silly mistakes I really could be in the mix this week but it is what it is and I'll have to try to go low tomorrow and Sunday. It would be nice to grab a good result before my 3 week break back in Australia.
The weather has been awesome and It's a nice change to play in some sunshine, the humidity doesn't bother me, I am a QUEENSLANDER after all.
By the way, I really enjoyed QLD's win on Wednesday night in the Rugby League, as much as the referees tried to ruin our party, we got the chocolates for another year.
Wish me luck, I will let you know how I go!
