Unfortunately, my effort at KBC Augusta was hampered by a nasty flu that I must have caught on the flight over.
I spent some time in hospital and despite my doctors best efforts I was unable to perform to the best of my ability.
I will take the weekend off to try to get better and prepare for the Fujisankei tournament next week.
Ness, the kids and my in-laws will be up here for Fujisankei so I'm looking forward to having a great week.
Ness will resume caddying duties, and she is hoping for a repeat performance of our 4th finish at Mizuno.
We'll keep you posted on our progress,
Wayne.

After my refreshing 3 week break at home, it's time to get back to work.
The KBC Augusta tournament at Keya Country Club near Fukuoka should be a good week to get the ball rolling.
The greens here are similar to the ones I grew up reading as a kid, although it's been many years since I have been any good on them!.
I enjoy the Keya Country Club layout as there are quite a few short holes. I enjoy my wedges and I'm looking forward to having a crack at some pins this week.
The weather is unbelievably hot, with temps in the mid to high 30's and very high humidity. It's weeks like this that you hope you have done enough fitness work. Water consumption is very important too.
'm in Japan for a 5 week stretch so it's important for me to get off to a solid start. It's the business end of the season now and I can't wait to get amongst it.
Wish me luck!
Wayne.
