The final event on my Japanese schedule this year is the Casio World Open held in Kochi in Japans south. After finishing in 52nd position last week I'm hoping for a big finish this week.

The course is a lot different to the usual courses we play on the Japanese Tour, it's very wide from the tee. It's a dramatic contrast to last week at the Dunlop Phoenix where it is single file down every hole! The course is usually played in strong winds off the ocean, and has some nice ocean views.

I'm really looking forward to getting back to Australia next week and to play the "big 2" Aussie events, the Australian Open and PGA. Even though they will be the last 2 of an 8 week stretch, it is always refreshing to play on home soil. My wife Ness will caddy for me for the first time in a long time at the Aussie Open, so that will be a bit different. I hope I can have a good week for her.

It's nice and chilly here now, with Winter well on it's way. Thanks to Under Armour for the great Winter clothing they provide to me, comfortable and really warm.

Until next time, good golfing,

Wayne.
