After a few mishaps I'm happy to report that I've scrambled through to the weekend at the Bridgestone open.

A triple bogie on my 4th hole of the tournament made it a difficult task but I'm making plenty of birdies so I knew if I was patient I could still get the job done.

Lucky for me, a birdie on the par 5 18th was enough to get me through and I'm looking forward to advancing up the leaderboard from my current position of T59th.

The Tokyo Motor Show is on this week here in Chiba so my friend Peter Bruce and I grabbed some pre-public tickets from Bridgestone and went along yesterday afternoon. It is an absolutely massive show and a must for petrol heads, of which we both are!

This years theme is "green cars" which doesn't do much for me... I prefer fast ones!

Still, we had a great time dreaming about some of the beautiful cars and it's good motivation to start playing some good golf.
